Shipping Policy

We ship fast, we ship smart, and we ship legal. Here’s how it all works — whether you’re ordering ammo, parts, or something serialized.

Order Processing Times

  • Orders typically ship within 3–10 business days
This covers payment verification, compliance checks, and waiting on your FFL to send us the required license.

  • Most items are fulfilled through our distribution partners — not shipped directly from Virginia, unless it's a custom Ironcrest Arms product or in-house firearm.

  • Tracking will be sent to your email once your order is en route.

Firearms & Serialized Items

Must Ship to an FFL

We do not ship serialized firearms to residential addresses. All firearms and frames/receivers must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer for transfer. This includes:

  • Pistols

  • Rifles

  • Stripped/complete lowers

  • Serialized uppers (where applicable)

  • NFA items like suppressors, SBRs, etc.

If your dealer doesn’t send us their FFL, your order isn’t going anywhere.

FFL Instructions

Have your receiving dealer send a copy of their license to:

dealer@ironcrestarms.com

Include your full name and order number in the email for fast processing.

If your FFL needs things like our invoice number or contact info, that’s already included in your receipt — or they can contact us directly at:

sales@ironcrestarms.com

Ammo, Parts & Accessories

We ship ammo, magazines, parts, and gear to your home address unless restricted by your state. You are responsible for knowing what’s legal where you live.

Some states restrict:

  • Ammo shipments (e.g., CA, CT, MA, NY)

  • Magazine capacity

  • Certain types of accessories or parts

We follow state and local laws. If we can’t ship something to your address, we’ll let you know — and either adjust or cancel the order.

State Restrictions & Order Refusals

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled legally or cleanly — especially when assault weapon bans (AWBs), suppressor bans, or vague compliance rules are in play.

Examples:

  • California: We’ll ship CA-compliant variants when available. No standard AR-15s.

  • Maryland: We do not ship standard AR-15 rifles. Some AR pistols may be allowed, but we verify case-by-case.

  • New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, D.C.: No “assault weapons.” No suppressors. No gray areas.

  • Illinois: Shipping depends on local laws — Cook County and similar zones are often restricted.

When in doubt, we won’t risk it — and we won’t guess. If your state is a legal minefield, don’t be surprised if your order is flagged or refunded.

Shipping Methods

  • Handguns ship via 2-Day Air (UPS or FedEx)

  • Long guns, receivers, and other items ship Ground

  • Ammo and accessories ship Ground unless otherwise selected

Need Help?

We comply with all federal, state, and local laws — no exceptions. If it’s illegal in your zip code, we're not shipping it.

Welcome to Ironcrest Arms. We do it right, or we don’t do it at all.
